As a transactional paralegal at Melancon Legal, Valorie combines her passion for creating order from chaos with her expertise in legal operations. With a recently completed paralegal certificate from the University of Texas and a background in law firm management, she brings a unique perspective to both legal transactions and firm administration.

My approach to legal work is grounded in exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to efficiency. Drawing from my experience managing high-volume law offices, I’ve developed a keen ability to streamline processes while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy. 

In her dual role handling transactional matters and firm administration, she leverages her background in business operations and client relations to create seamless experiences for both clients and colleagues. Her experience implementing new systems and procedures helps ensure that our firm operates at peak efficiency while delivering outstanding client service.

Having managed teams in various professional settings, she understands the importance of clear communication and organized workflows. Her diverse background, including experience in bookkeeping and office management, gives her a comprehensive understanding of both the business and legal aspects of our practice.

 Outside the office, she is a proud mom of two teenage boys, and they make the most of Austin’s outdoor offerings together. You’ll often find them hiking the trails at Bull Creek or launching kayaks from the Rowing Dock. When she’s not exploring nature with her family, she’s challenging herself on the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu mat – an experience that keeps her humble and focused. For dining out, she’s always up for tacos al pastor, and frequents health-conscious spots like Juiceland and Casa de Luz to maintain balance in her active lifestyle.
