Daniela Martinez

As a law-trained Intake Specialist, Daniela combines legal knowledge with hands-on experience in client service and case evaluation to effectively guide clients through the firm’s intake process from the very first interaction. She serves as a primary point of contact for new and prospective clients, gathering key information and ensuring each matter is efficiently evaluated and directed to the appropriate legal team.

With a background in law, Daniela brings a strong foundation to the Melancon Legal Intake Department. Her legal degree allows her to identify relevant details early, maintain organized case information, and support the firm in moving matters forward efficiently. She approaches each interaction with professionalism and attention to detail, helping clients feel heard and informed from the very beginning.

Daniela’s experience includes work with a law firm and a judicial internship with the Constitutional Court of Colombia, where she assisted in reviewing cases involving constitutional and fundamental rights. She has also supported legal initiatives involving individuals seeking humanitarian protection, which required careful handling of sensitive information and clear communication.

In addition to her legal training, Daniela has experience in client service and administrative support, strengthening her ability to manage communications, coordinate next steps, and provide a seamless intake experience.

Daniela earned her law degree from Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia. She is fluent in Spanish, advanced in English, and has working proficiency in French.

Outside the Office

Outside of her professional role, Daniela enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym, exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and listening to music. She also values spending time with her dog and making meaningful memories with family and friends.
